Being a mama is hard, we understand. There are a ton of things on the to-do list and a hundred-and-one reasons not to squeeze exercise into your already jam-packed schedule. But you can, and you have to. Don't feel guilty for setting 10-minutes aside for yourself - yes, 10 minutes is a enough. Think of it this way... By setting up a good routine for yourself, your children will learn from your good habits and will reap the benefit as well.

Meet Michelle Thompson

Michelle Thompson, aka The YYC Mom, is a stay at home mom of 2 who has always been devoted to living a healthy and active lifestyle. Her background has educated her on the importance of healthy living, but once she became a mom that took on a whole new meaning. Now she navigates life with 2 under 2 and shares her experiences and new fun finds with Calgary parents on her blog, The YYC Mom. Through her adventures she has found different ways to be active, she is teaching her kids healthy habits and she is dedicated to always having fun.

Burpee Progression

Carrying and delivering a baby weakens your abdominal muscles and pelvic floor. Burpees are a great way to strengthen your core while strengthening and toning other important areas of your body. Here is an example of how you can slowly progress your burpee to regain your strength responsibly and safely.
